- Essential Question
- How can the young people of the Emberá Chamí retrieve the tales of their ancestors?
- Project Description
-
The knowledge that the elderly have received from their ancestors in the community of the Emberá Chamí, Indigenous Council of El Caimo district of the city of Armenia, is at risk of not being able to be transmitted to new generations. This implies the loss of "cultural roots" and their thinking, placing children in a situation in which they must adopt an identity that is contrary to their ancestral customs and cultural realities. All of this causes a loss of identity, roots and histories and an impact on cultural memory. It was solved through the creation of an educative blog.
