We have been allocated a 1ha plot within a 10 minute walking distance of the Matenge Primay School. As an organization that has been running digital skills training in this school, we want to move learners beyond the traditional four walls of learning by creating an educational farm that would achieve two things: (1) engage learners on building their own irrigation system that would serve as a space to learn agricultural and practical life-skills beyond the 4 walls of a classroom (2) provide food and water to a rural community where the average family earns $100 per month
