Project Description

Recycling Smart is a student-led project focused on improving waste management through technology. The challenge it addresses is inefficient recycling and waste separation. To tackle this, we developed a system that uses sensors and AI to detect waste types and guide users to the correct bins. This innovation helps reduce contamination in recycling streams, promotes sustainability, and raises awareness about responsible waste disposal. By integrating smart technology into everyday recycling, we aim to create a more efficient and eco-friendly waste management system, contributing to climate action and a circular economy.
