We have explored the concept of aquaponics further from last year's aquatruck to our new aquaship. We designed a shipborne aquaponics system prototype based on a recycled container ship that would be converted to electric power. Our solar powered ship would contain a fresh water aquaponics system in the forward section and a marine fish farm in the rear. The ship would grow food any where in the world and also grow fish commercially. We would also replenish wild marine fish by releasing some back in their ecosystems. The E ship would not contribute to global warming
