The Municipal Montessori Educational Institution in Huila, Colombia, faces the environmental challenge of coffee waste. They created the CAFELAB COLOMBIA program to research and develop solutions. It includes field studies, the use of drones for data collection, and STEM challenges to encourage student entrepreneurship. CAFELAB COLOMBIA benefits over 150,000 students and 600,000 inhabitants. It has reintegrated over 100,000 tons of coffee pulp, reclaiming water and producing eco-friendly materials and electric batteries. It fosters sustainable entrepreneurship and the circular economy, providing new economic opportunities to local communities
