This project finds a lasting solution to the challenge of students spending long hours cutting grass on school compounds amidst heavy rainfalls caused by climate change in Agbakope , a small community in southern Ghana to the detriment of their academic work. Selected students from St. Catherine Senior High School in Agbakope, Ghana joined forces with selected students from International High School at Largo in the USA to investigate the challenge and find a scientific solution. Through collaboration via videoconferencing platforms, the binational team designed a prototype of a solar powered mower to curb the challenge.
