The stories that the elders have accumulated during their lives, and that make part of the history of the city of Armenia, Quindío, are in risk of not being transmitted and remembered by future generations, because people do not use to tell the stories of their families or past events to the new generations.
Students will use the oral history to collect aspects of the past of the city of Armenia, Quindío, by investigating tales, stories and other important historical information of the city. First, they will interview their grandparents, then, thwy will go to local resthomes near the school.
