Students Designed and produced 300 orange shirts to be worn on Orange shirt day (sept 30th). The orange shirt is used to raise awareness of the intergenerational impact of residential schools on indigenous individual, family and community.
Students investigated possible reasons for the lack of support for orange shirt day in the past and created more awareness for its importance and distributed free shirts to remove the economical barrier many of our schools population would have to participate.
