How to provide nutritious diet to malnourished children of under-served communities in an affordable manner?
Project Description
A major segment of our community comprises the under-served sections of society.
Due to poor economical conditions, children are deprived of proper diet and suffer from severe malnutrition from a tender age, impairing their overall growth.
This project proposes an affordable solution for providing nutrition to these impoverished children.
Through surveys and real-life observation, it is found that consumption of small indigenous fish species is a potential solution to check the overwhelming rate of malnutrition.
It is also extremely cost-effective and affordable.
Besides combatting malnutirtion, it provides a livlihood opportunity for many people, specially women through the implementation of Ring-Pisciculture.
